WalkStrong was designed to do more than just gain knowledge of Scripture. We believe knowing about God does not compare with knowing Him intimately. Once you’ve clicked ‘Confirm‘ in your app after the signup process, you will receive a confirmation email sent to the email address you used to sign up for an account. You need to confirm the email to enjoy the full experience of the app.

If you’ve not received the confirmation email in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folder of your email.

Yes. We treat our users’ data and security very seriously and have taken various measures to protect your information. The identity and information of each user are kept confidential and encrypted, and are not viewable even by ourselves. The app also does not (and cannot) track your location. Your Spiritual Assessment results, tracks subscription, Personalize My Verse Feed topics, notes, favorites, and spiritual growth summary are not visible to anyone except yourself. For more information, please read our Privacy Policy.

However, in the ‘Pray with us‘ section of the app, whenever you post a prayer request, it will show the name of the requester. The name will be the same one you specified during the signup process. If you’d like to change your name or maybe just use your initials for e.g. for privacy reasons, simply change your name under ‘My Details‘ in your Profile (in the app).

Yes you can, but you will only get daily verses that appear randomly and not intuitively and personalised to your spiritual profile and needs. The verses will also appear in-app only, hence you will not receive any notifications and reminders on your mobile device.

Your message feed is always 100% custom-fit to exactly where you are – based on your needs and goals. Take and re-take the in-app spiritual assessment to keep your messages relevant to your path forward.

There are 20-30 questions in the assessment and should take no longer than 3-5 minutes to complete. Try not to think too much/too long and select the first answer that comes to mind.

Similarly to the Spiritual Assessment, Personalize My Verse Feed (Spiritual GPS) delivers custom-fit verses based on your current needs. You may select up to 3 topics one at a time. The algorithm will temporarily put priority on these topics and adjust the messages you get. Feel free to update at any time too.

The Like and Favorite buttons do not have a direct effect on the algorithm in terms of the messages you receive, but they do feed into the data we collect to refine the content in our system and be more relevant to your situation in future.

You may also make a note on a particular message under Favorite at anytime and revisit your notes to see how God has spoken to you in the past. Treat it like your personal journal about your spiritual journey. Nobody will be able to view your notes except yourself.

You will receive app and email alerts/notifications from your daily verses and the tracks that you subscribe to.

You can adjust the frequency of these alerts by adjusting them. For daily verses, (in your app), go to your User Profile > Reminders. For tracks, go to your subscribed track(s), and adjust your reminders of each track.

If you wish to stop receiving alerts/notifications, simply turn off the specific reminders, or unsubscribe from a track. If it’s email, simply scroll to the bottom of the email and click ‘unsubscribe’ from all email communication.

Some tracks allow users to post comments, ‘like’ a post and even interact with other users’ comments. But at this moment, it is usually only limited to tracks published in the main page of the app.

We are a very small team at the moment and hopefully we will improve the app in the near future.

Please give us your feedback on what you like about the app and how we can improve it.

When you make a post in an interactive track, it will show the ID of your email address. E.g. if your email is abc@gmail.com, it will show ‘abc’ as your name, when you post a comment.

Please bear with us as we hope to make improvements in future, so you can specify a nickname instead, or even post as a guest.

We partner with various ministries who provide us their track content, and are always open to add more.

Click on Request for Prayer in the app. When you tap on the Post button, you will be prompted if you’d like to proceed or not.

Once posted, your prayer request will be publicly visible (in the app) and shareable by anyone, and cannot be edited, but can be deleted (by you).

Each prayer request will also be moderated before it is published to show in the app.

The more you engage, read and follow the Word, the strength bar will indicate growth towards the right.

Similarly, the red bar (darker color) will decrease as you progress and grow.

At this moment, the tracks are only available in English.

However, when you change and select another language, the change will only reflect in the personalised, daily verses and not the tracks.

Currently we are only focusing on English and not other languages yet.

If you’d like to offer your help with translation work and also uploading content in your local language, please let us know by contacting us.

Yes but we would still highly recommend you to use the app instead.

However, if you insist, you may go here in your browser and then sign in with your WalkStrong account.

You may encounter some bugs and things may not work as smoothly as on the app, so don’t say we didn’t warn you!

All your data and activity reside with your WalkStrong account when you signed up, so even if you delete the app on your phone, your data is still intact and secure. When you sign in again with the same ID, it will bring up your previous data and activity.

We’ll be sad to see you go, but if for whatever reason you wish to delete your account, please contact us for further assistance.
